Start a WhatsApp CRM Reselling Business (Full Guide)

A practical guide to the WA-CRM WhatsApp CRM reseller panel: voucher signup, issuing device-bound license keys, setting your own pricing, and suspending customers.

GUIDE

What a WhatsApp CRM reseller actually sells

Almost every small business in India already runs on WhatsApp — coaching classes, boutiques, tour operators, digital-product sellers. What they don't have is a pipeline, automatic follow-ups, GST invoices or a searchable product catalogue. WA-CRM adds all of that on top of the WhatsApp Web session they already use, and the WhatsApp CRM reseller panel built into the app lets you sell those licenses under your own brand, at your own price, without writing code or holding stock.

Be straight with buyers about one thing from day one: WA-CRM is an independent Windows desktop app that works on the user's own WhatsApp Web session. It is not official WhatsApp or Meta software, and it is not the WhatsApp Business API — which is exactly why there are no per-message fees and no approval process. Saying this upfront kills most refund arguments before they start.

How the WhatsApp CRM reseller panel works

There are only three moving parts.

Vouchers. You buy a prepaid voucher balance from WA-CRM. Every license you issue deducts vouchers based on the plan duration and the number of devices. This is your wholesale cost, paid once, up front.

License keys. You generate keys yourself, instantly, from inside the app. Keys are device-bound — one key activates on one PC unless you allot more devices.

Your customer list. Every key you issue stays in your own panel, where you can extend it, reset its device, suspend it or let it expire.

There is no revenue share on each sale and no waiting for a payout. The customer pays you directly — UPI, bank transfer, cash, whatever you already use — and the gap between your voucher cost and your retail price is your margin.

Step 1: Get set up as a reseller

  1. Download WA-CRM from wa-crm.in and run the 7-day free trial on your own number first. Do not skip this. You cannot sell software you have never used.
  2. Spend a couple of days actually working inside it: save a few chats as leads with the + Lead button, build a small Quick Replies catalogue, send one test Invoice, schedule one Auto Offer Post.
  3. Apply for reseller access from wa-crm.in and buy your first voucher pack. Start small — one pack is enough to test your sales process.
  4. Open the app, go to the feature rail on the right and open the Reseller Panel, then sign in with the reseller ID you were issued.
  5. Set your brand: business name, logo and support number. This is what your customers see on their activation screen and in renewal messages, not the WA-CRM name.

The Reseller Panel — issue and manage license keys under your own brand

Step 2: Issue your first license key

  1. In the Reseller Panel, click Issue New Key.
  2. Enter the customer's name and WhatsApp number. You will use this number later to find the record and to send renewal reminders.
  3. Pick the plan duration — 1 month, 6 months or 1 year. The panel shows the voucher cost before you confirm, so you always know your margin on that sale.
  4. Set the device count. One device is the default; a customer running two shop PCs needs two.
  5. Click Generate Key. Your voucher balance drops and a new row appears in My Customers.
  6. Copy the key and send it straight into the customer's chat. Save your welcome message — download link, key, install steps — as a Quick Reply so every delivery is one click instead of five minutes of typing.
  7. The customer installs WA-CRM, pastes the key into the activation box, and it binds to that machine.

Small habit that pays off: hit + Lead on every buyer's chat, set the type to Hot and the status to Won. Six months later, your Lead Manager reports view tells you exactly how many licenses you sold, your win rate against the enquiries you got, and who is due for renewal.

Step 3: Set your own pricing

Your voucher cost is fixed; your retail price is entirely yours. Current voucher rates are on wa-crm.in — build a simple sheet like this with your own numbers before you quote anyone:

What you sellYour retail priceVoucher costMargin per sale
1 month₹___₹___₹___
6 months₹___₹___₹___
1 year₹___₹___₹___
1 year + setup service₹___₹___₹___

Three things that separate resellers who last from those who quit in two months:

Step 4: Manage, extend and suspend customer licenses

The My Customers table is your whole back office. Each row shows the key, customer name and number, plan, activation date, expiry date, bound device and status — Active, Expired or Suspended.

Sort the table by expiry date and you have your renewal list for the next 15 days. Use Broadcast to message those customers with random delays — they're your own buyers who opted in, which is a completely different thing from blasting a purchased number list.

Protect your customers, and your business

The fastest way to kill a reselling business is customers getting their WhatsApp numbers restricted and blaming your software. Hand every buyer the same short rules:

WA-CRM automates the user's own WhatsApp session. Reckless bulk messaging risks a ban on any tool — and on manual sending too. Setting this expectation at handover is not a disclaimer, it's customer retention.

A realistic first month

Week 1: run the trial yourself and learn Lead Manager, Quick Replies, Broadcast, Invoice and Data Extractor properly. Week 2: buy a small voucher pack, sell three licenses to people you already know at a fair price, and watch where they get stuck. Week 3: turn those sticking points into a one-page setup guide and a Quick Replies pack. Week 4: raise your price to what the setup service is actually worth.

Frequently asked

Do I need technical skills to be a reseller?

No. Issuing a key is a short form with four fields — customer name, WhatsApp number, plan duration and device count. What you do need is enough hands-on time in the app to answer basic customer questions like how to schedule a follow-up or send an invoice, which is exactly what the free 7-day trial is for.

What happens when a customer changes their computer?

License keys are device-bound, so the old binding has to be released first. Open My Customers in the Reseller Panel, find that customer's row and use Reset device. They can then activate the same key on the new PC. Repeated resets from one customer usually mean the key is being shared.

Can I sell under my own brand name?

Yes. The Reseller Panel lets you set your own business name, logo and support number, so customers see your brand on activation and in renewal messages. You still should not describe it as official WhatsApp or Meta software, because it is not — it is an independent app that runs on the user's own WhatsApp Web session.

How do I handle a refund or a customer who stops paying?

Use Suspend on their row in My Customers. It disables the license immediately, and it is reversible — Reactivate restores access if they clear the payment. That means you never have to argue about access while a payment dispute is open.
